Don't ride my rebuilt CA95 much but finally go around to adjusting everything so now it starts very good and runs good so will use it more. Over the past few years this clutch discs would stick a little and I could rock the bike back and forth and they would release. Yesterday drove it about 10 ...

Had it out
Had it out last weekend with the Grandkids and it operated the way it should. Just need to adjust the air a little and hope it starts a bit better. More snow again so will be a few days again!! Will be waiting for yours pics Foamy.

Things seemed to be working mostly ok one night, the next day things that were working weren't working. Decided to open the ign. switch up. Checked out things a little more and I think I didn't have the rectifier grounded well enough. The rectifier checked out ok after I pulled it off the harness. With the rectifier connected to the harness and the switch unplugged should the voltage at on the wires that woudld go to DY and SE on the ...

More info
The top line are key positions as they relate to the small spots on the switch front. The left column is the wires on the back of the switch and further along on the wire harness. The other numbers are the voltage readings on the wires. I changed some of the voltage numbers tonight.

A little more info
don't have the motor on th bike but jumped wires from the harness to the wires on the motor except the wire to the condensor ( and maybe one more...will check) will also check to see if the motor is grounded to the frame yet.

Ignition switch problems
Don't know where to start....the switch seems very messed up. The '64 ca95 operated electrically ok the last time used (25 yrs ago) but won't work now.
The key moves and stops at six positions, the switch looks like it was apart before, the BAT wire had been resoldered and had to do that again ...
