Carb Spring?

So I'm SO close to getting my 64 benly on the road. However, one of the things that was strange to me was how gummed up and hard to turn the throttle was- I assumed it was the cable. However, upon closer inspection, I found that the previous owner had used a way stiffer spring in the carb (the one ...

I have one, but I haven't used it yet. I've been referring to stuff on here- the pics are way better, that's for sure!
That being said, there's a ton on info in the manual that's not on here- I guess it depends on what you plan on working on- all the upkeep, and bike maintenence stuff is in the ...

fuel line size?

HI- so I'm about to pull the carb off, but the fuel lines are lookin' a little rough, so I figured I'd replace them. Does anybody know what size they are? I'm assuming they are metric...

Confused as to what kinda bike I got...

So I thought I had a ca 95, but I'm starting to think that might not be the case (I'm thinking maybe it's a ca160)- it is a 12v system w/no signals, but the electrical system could have been changed. Can you tell by serial #?

Newbie with a new/old '64 Benly

Hi-
Picked up a running Benly this past summer and have been slowly getting it road worthy. (Just found this forum and I'm really psyched, as it kinda feels like I'm winging it a little too hard!) It looks sweet and I got it running briefly before I put it in the basement fot the winter. Someone ...
